I was at a conference recently and saw an attendee squatting on the nearby window sill, laptop laptop 💻 open, and working.
I was sitting in a chair at a table, not using a computer.
“Would you like to sit here,” I offered.
The gruff reply in response was four words long: “Don’t worry about it.”
Don’t worry about it?
Don’t worry about *what?*
“Worry?”
Who said anything about worrying? Definitely not me.
My guess is that the person isn’t comfortable at saying, “No, thank you.”
